Redesigned filters across Reports and Floor

Every report now uses the same filter experience. One Filter button opens a popover where you build filter chips, pick multiple values at once, and use "is" or "is not" instead of a single-select dropdown.

Map an unknown barcode to a catalog item

When you scan a barcode on receive that we don't recognise, you can now link it to a catalog item there and then, instead of stopping to sort it out elsewhere. Every future scan of that barcode is recognised automatically.

A product can also carry more than one barcode. That matters when different suppliers use different codes for the same thing - beef bones might arrive under fifteen different barcodes depending on who sent them, and all fifteen can now point at the one catalog item.

Control over who can sell and ship from the floor

Selling from the floor and assigning inventory to a shipment used to be available to anyone who could see the floor. They are now two separate permissions, so you can let a shift lead assign to shipments without also letting them record sales, or withhold both from operators who only produce. People who lack a permission no longer see the button.

Nothing changes for your existing users - both permissions were switched on for everyone who could already do these things. New permission groups you create from now on start with both switched off, so you grant them deliberately.

How to use it

1. Open the permission group you want to change.
2. Find the Floor section.
3. Grant or revoke Sell Item (sell items from a floor stage that has a sell rule) and Assign to Shipment (assign items from a floor stage to a shipment).

Compact document layout

Your documents can be printed in a compact layout that fits considerably more onto a page. Instead of every field getting its own column, the essentials stay as columns and everything else moves to smaller text underneath the item name. It applies to purchase orders, sales orders, invoices, both packing lists and both bills of lading, and it is a single facility setting so you turn it on once.

Custom attributes in code templates

A lot or serial code can now include the value of a custom attribute, so the code itself carries the farm, grade or catch area the item came from rather than needing that looked up separately. Add a Custom attribute section to a code template and, when you produce against a recipe, the value is pulled from the recipe's input.

It works on regular recipes, continuous variable recipes and auto-produce, and if an input is missing the attribute or two sources disagree, the app tells you before you commit rather than producing a wrong code.

Code numbers can reset daily, weekly or monthly

The Number (Padded) component in code templates now has a Reset dropdown: None, Daily, Weekly or Monthly. Set it and the counter returns to your Starting Number at the start of each day, week or month, in your facility's timezone.

Build your own facility flow

Setting up how items move through your facility used to be something our Customer Success team did for you - now you can do it yourself. 

Facility Flow has been rebuilt around a visual canvas where you add stages, drag to connect them, and edit everything in place. A Quick start option gets you going in one click, a status pill tells you whether your flow is valid, and anything still holding inventory is protected from accidental deletion. Changes stay a draft until you press Publish. Customer Success is still there if you'd rather we set it up with you.

Easier location selection for transfers

When creating an Internal transfer from external location, you can now select the destination stage from the To location field, making it easier to choose the correct final location.

Order the same item more than once, at different prices

Ordered lines get a copy button, so you can add the same item twice at different prices (samples, promos) without saving in between. 

Shipment lines inherit the matching ordered price automatically; when the assignment doesn't line up cleanly, the price stays at zero and a warning icon lists the prices the item was ordered at.

External codes on shipping documents

You can now include external codes on Invoices, Bills of Lading and Packing Lists. Enable "External code" in column settings and it shows under each line's code, with combined rows split so every unique external code appears on its own line.

Production Date on shipping documents

You can now show a production date on shipment Bills of Lading and Invoices, so buyers don't confuse it with your internal lot code.

Turn it on in the custom data options modal. It's off by default, so existing documents are unchanged until you enable it.

Excel versions of your documents

The Generate dropdown on the Documents tab is now split into PDF and Excel sections, so you can produce an .xlsx of the same document instead of a PDF — PO Document, Sales Order, Bill of Lading, Packing List and Invoice, across purchase orders, orders, shipments and transfers. The Excel file mirrors the PDF layout, respects the same custom data options prompt, and lands in the documents list to download like any other document.

Catalog & Inventory

• Select an entire filtered catalog in one go when bulk editing, instead of ticking items page by page. 
• Correct gross weight directly from entity edit. 
• Better picker for choosing a pallet from a long bundle list. 
• Merging two inventory items shows cost per unit while you resolve the conflict, so you can tell which cost you're keeping. 
• Swapping an input on Make Product can be undone and redone. 
• Search results and item info show the full Stage › Container › Bundle location instead of only the innermost one.

Pricing & Price Lists

• Customer price lists accept Ingredient, Packaging and Chemical items, and sales of those items use the price list price.
• Unit prices support up to five decimal places, so sub-cent pricing no longer has to be rounded.
• Changing a customer's or supplier's currency is blocked while they're on a price list in the old currency, and existing mismatches are flagged on the list.
• The Add Customer and Add Supplier dialogs say which currency they're filtering on, and explain an empty result instead of showing "Nothing Found".
• Added NZD, AUD and the common European currencies.

Orders & Shipments

• "Unassign all" action for bundles, rather than removing them one at a time.

Documents & Labels

• Packing list documents can include the catalog ID.
• Orders, shipments and transfers logistics summary PDFs use the new layout, and PDF sort order matches what you see on screen.
• Preprinted label runs can go up to 300 labels at a time, up from 50.

Reports

• Variant column on inventory, receiving, production and accounting reports.
• Destination column on orders and shipments summary reports.
• Logistics summary PDFs: orders, shipments and transfers use the new layout, and the PDF sort order now matches what you see on screen.

Platform

• Back navigation returns to the correct screen and keeps your search, filters, sort, pagination and tab, across the app.
• Form submissions can be deleted, controlled by a new Delete Form Submission permission.
• Forgot your PIN? Switch the lock screen to a password field and sign in with your password, no need to remove your account from the device.

Fixes

Catalog & Inventory

• Copying a catalog item no longer quietly adds the copy to your customer catalog items.
• Unique ID can no longer be cleared to empty.
• Correcting a lot code carries its consumed and wasted history with it.
• Split history shows the origin location, and split to/from events are recorded correctly.
• Deconstructed items inherit the correct net weight, and deconstruct is no longer hidden for merged received items.

Planning & Production

• The inventory shortage warning refreshes after you edit a quantity.
• The planning page loads for large plans instead of failing, and no longer errors when a workflow references a deleted recipe.

Orders & Shipments

• Customer default tax now applies to new shipment line items.

Documents & Labels

• The QR code no longer overlaps the text in the label preview card on web.
• The Print and Copy QR Code buttons stay visible when the item detail window is zoomed in.
• Static QR codes appear on preprinted labels again.

Forms

• Changing a form's template no longer alters submissions already made.
• A long description no longer makes a form hard to fill in.
• Receiving workflows honour the form submission timing setting properly, including when the same form is added to a workflow twice.
