Customizing Shipping Documents for Specific Customers
For businesses that need tailored shipping documents for individual customers, Tracktile offers a customizable solution directly within the customer’s profile settings.
Configuration Steps
Access Customer Settings: Navigate to Facility Settings and select the Customers tab.
Select a Customer: Click on the customer for whom you wish to customize shipping documents.
Customize Shipping Documents: Scroll to the Shipping Document Settings section. Here, you can specify:
- Custom Header: Personalize the top section of your shipping documents with a unique header for the selected customer.
- Comments: Add specific comments that will appear on the shipping documents for that customer.
- Terms & Conditions: Tailor terms and conditions specific to transactions with this customer.
- Footer: Customize the footer to include any relevant information such as contact details, special instructions, or legal notices.
Priority Over General Settings
The custom settings configured for a specific customer will take precedence over the general document settings established in your company profile when processing shipments for that customer. This ensures that each shipping document is appropriately customized to meet the unique requirements of each customer.
