What you can now do
Your documents can print in a compact layout that fits considerably more onto a page. Rather than giving every field its own column, the essentials stay as columns and everything else moves to smaller text underneath the item name.
It is one facility setting and applies to every document type at once: purchase orders, sales orders, shipment invoices, order and shipment packing lists, and order and shipment bills of lading.
How to use it
- Go to Facility Settings › General.
- Find the Documents section — it sits after Shipments and before Automation.
- Choose the Compact option.
- Generate any document as usual. It will use the new layout.
What stays as a column
The columns that remain are the ones you scan for; everything else becomes subtext under the item name.

Good to know
- Purchase orders, shipment invoices, shipment packing lists and shipment BOLs still respect the custom data options you choose when generating — compact layout doesn't force extra fields onto the page.
- Sales orders, order packing lists and order BOLs have no custom data prompt, so all their data is included by default in both layouts.
- Columns you have hidden on the item stay hidden in compact view. This was briefly not the case and has been fixed.
- Items with no custom attributes no longer print "undefined" on the standard layout.
