Once you have configured Stripe within Tracktile, you’re set to begin invoicing your customers directly from the platform. Stripe invoicing is conveniently managed alongside shipments.
How to Send an Invoice via Stripe
Create a Shipment:
- Input all necessary details such as the customer, destination, profile, due date, and item prices. Make sure to assign items to the shipment.
Access Stripe Invoices:
- After saving the shipment, navigate to the “Stripe Invoices” tab adjacent to “Attachments.”
Verify the Customer Details:
- If a matching customer is found (based on the billing email), the Stripe customer field will automatically display the appropriate customer name.
- If there is a discrepancy due to incorrect customer setup, you can select a different customer from the dropdown.
Review and Send the Invoice:
- Verify the invoicing amount and customer details. If all required information is present and correct, the “Send” button will become active.
- Click “Send” to dispatch the invoice from Tracktile to Stripe, changing the invoice status from ‘Not Sent’ to ‘Sent’.
Share Payment Link:
- Optionally, you can email the invoice to your customer directly from Tracktile. The email will include a payment link, facilitating easy and prompt payment through Stripe.
By integrating these steps into your shipment process, you not only streamline your billing operations but also enhance customer satisfaction with efficient and transparent invoicing practices.
