Streamline your payment processes by linking your company profiles with main and/or sub Stripe accounts. This guide walks you through connecting your main Stripe account and optionally linking sub-accounts for flexibility across different company profiles.
Connecting Your Main Stripe Account
Navigate to Facility Settings:
- Access the Stripe configuration by selecting âStripeâ from the menu.
Connect Your Main Stripe Account:
- Click âConnect Stripe Account.â Here, youâll connect your main account. Tracktile will automatically detect any sub-accounts from this integration.
Provide Account Details:
- Enter the account name.
- Add the client ID.
- Optionally set this Stripe account as the default. This default setting will manage payments, shipments, and invoices across Tracktile. Specific company profiles can override this to use a different account if needed.
- Input the secret key.
Configure Redirect URI:
- Copy the provided redirect URI and paste it into the âRedirect URIsâ section in your Stripe Dashboard under Settings > Connect > Onboarding Options > OAuth. Ensure âEnable OAuthâ is checked.
Test and Save:
- Click âTest setupâ to verify the connection.
- Save your account settings.
Linking Company Profiles to Stripe Accounts
Default Account Handling:
- If no sub-accounts are used, the main account connected previously will serve as the default for all profiles.
Linking Sub-Accounts (if applicable):
For profiles requiring a specific sub-account:
- Open the company profile.
- Scroll to âConnect Stripe Account.â
- Select the appropriate sub-account from the dropdown.
- Save the profile.
Verifying Tracktile and Stripe Customer Matching
- For effective integration, ensure your Tracktile customers match those in Stripe, primarily based on the billing email. Verify that each customer has a billing contact with an email that matches the Stripe account.
This setup not only enhances your financial operations but also integrates smoothly with our capabilities to send invoices directly from shipment details.
