Setting Up Billing and Shipping Details for Customers and Suppliers
Configuring billing and shipping details correctly is crucial for smooth operations and accurate documentation. Here's how you can set up these details for your customers and suppliers in Tracktile.
Accessing Settings
Navigate to Settings: Go to Facility Settings and choose either the Customers tab or Suppliers tab depending on which you need to configure.
Adding or Editing Customer/Supplier Details
Select a Record: Click on an existing customer or supplier record to edit, or click “Add Customer” or “Add Supplier” to create a new one.
Configuring Contact Details
Contacts Section: Scroll to the contacts section where you will find checkboxes labeled for billing and shipping.
Assign Roles: Select the appropriate checkboxes to designate contacts for billing and shipping purposes.
Setting Up Locations
- Locations Section: Below the contacts, you’ll find the locations section with checkboxes for billing and shipping addresses.
- Select Appropriate Addresses: Check the boxes next to the addresses that should be used for billing and shipping.
Ensuring Accurate Document Configuration
By selecting the appropriate checkboxes for contacts and addresses, you ensure that the billing and shipping details are correctly displayed on purchase and shipping documents.
