Auto-Produce Recipes
Introduction
Auto-Produce is a recipe option available for Continuous Fixed recipes that allows operators to produce and label items instantly—without opening the full Make Product flow.
This feature is designed for high-speed production lines where workers need to quickly label boxes or units as they come off the line. It works especially well with Production Runs, enabling streamlined, repeated production with minimal clicks.
Enabling Auto-Produce
- Go to the Recipes page.
- Create or open an existing Continuous Fixed recipe.
- Toggle the Auto Produce setting to ON.
⚠️ You’ll be prompted to confirm the change. Auto-Produce disables variance and waste options to support instant runs.
Identifying Auto-Produce Recipes
Once enabled, you’ll see a purple Auto Produce label next to the recipe on the Make Product > Select Recipe screen.
Using Auto-Produce in Make Product
- Navigate to Floor > Make Product.
- Select a recipe tab (Preparation, Production, Packaging).
- Click the recipe with the Auto Produce tag.
- If all required ingredients are available at the current stage, the system will:
- Instantly produce the item.
- Print a label (if configured).
If any ingredient is missing or unavailable, a Missing Ingredients message will appear.

Traceability & History
- Items created via Auto-Produce will still be fully traceable.
- You’ll see their source, time of creation, and other details in the item’s history.
Permissions & Use Case
Auto-Produce works best for:
- Repetitive small unit production (e.g., packaging boxes, trays).
- Workers who need a faster alternative to Make Product.
For recipes where input variance is critical or multiple outputs are required—Auto-Produce should remain disabled.
