Scenario: Shipping from an External Location
Hereâs how to ship items directly from an external location to your customers:
Order Creation
Navigate to the Order Section: Go to the order page.
Add a New Order: Click âadd,â input the order details, and include the items needed.
Allocate Items from External Locations:
- Click âassigned to orderâ followed by âmanage itemsâ to start allocating inventory.
- On the âassign items to Orderâ screen, use the dropdown to change the location from internal to your chosen external location. The system will then display available items based on the selected location.
- Assign the necessary items to the order.
Shipment Creation
Initiate Shipment:
- Either link the order to a new shipment or create a shipment directly from the order details.
Item Assignment:
- If auto-assignment is enabled, items will be automatically linked to the shipment.
- If auto-assignment is off, click âmanage itemsâ to manually assign items to the shipment.
Update Shipment Status: Change the shipment status to shipped, in transit, or complete. This action will update the inventory status and remove items from the external locationâs stock.
