The Receiving Report in Tracktile helps you gain insights into all inventory items received within a specific time period. You can access and analyze data grouped by location, supplier, catalog item, and more to track received quantities, verify supply accuracy, and support traceability.
📍 Accessing the Receiving Report
To open the report:
- Go to the Reports page from the side navigation
- Click on the Receiving tab
- Open the Receiving Summary report
📊 What You’ll See
The report displays:
- Catalog item name
- Code
- Supplier name
- Purchase order ID (if used)
- Received date
- Quantity received
- Cost
- Custom attributes
- Expiry date
📁 Grouping & Subgrouping Options
You can adjust how data is displayed by using the grouping options on the top left:
- Group By: Supplier, Catalog Item, Floor Location, Code, or any custom attribute
- Subgroup By: Add a secondary layer of organization using another attribute
- Combine By Code: Merge visually similar inventory lines (same code) into one summary row for simplified viewing
📐 Customize Columns
On the top-right corner, click the three-dot menu:
- Select Show/Hide Columns
- Choose which columns to display or hide
📤 Export Options
Use the same three-dot menu to export:
- PDF format — for sharing summaries
- CSV format — for importing into spreadsheets or data analyze.
Use Cases
- Track receiving activity per supplier or ingredient
- Validate if expected items were received on time
- Audit quantities or expiry dates
- Cross-check received inventory with purchase orders
If you don't see the Receiving tab, check that your user group has the correct permission: Access to Receiving Reports in Facility Settings > Permissions.
