The Floor feature in Tracktile serves as your comprehensive dashboard for inventory management at each stage of your operation, from receiving to shipping. Understanding how to use this feature can significantly improve your efficiency and resource management. This guide aims to provide you with an in-depth understanding of the Floor and its functionalities.
🏢 Floor Overview
When you navigate to the Floor, you'll see a dropdown list featuring all the areas that you've created in Flow (e.g., Receiving, Storage, Processing, Packaging, Shipping).
- Newly Created Stage: If a stage has just been created, it will display "There is nothing here" until items are moved into it.
- Visibility of Buttons: The visibility of "Receive Items" and "Make Product" buttons depends on the rules activated for each stage in Flow Builder.
🔗 Stages and Categories
Upon selecting a stage, you will see your catalog items organized into several categories:
- Items on Hand: Current stock of items.
- Containers: If any were added in the Flow Builder.
- Bundles: You can create bundles from your stock.
You can also filter these items based on your needs.
📥 Receive Items
- Click on "Receive Items" button.
- Choose a supplier from the list.
- Select a catalog item, input its quantity, and a Unique ID.
- Click "Receive" to save changes.
You will then see the new items in the 'Items on Hand' list. From here, you can:
- Waste Items: Select items to mark as waste.
- Bundle Items: Combine items into a bundle.
- Move Items: Transfer items between stages and/or bundles.
- Ship: Available only for Product-type items; select packaging and customer information to create a shipment.
🏭 Make Product
Steps on How to Make Product:
- Click on "Make Product".
- Select a recipe from the list.
- Choose the production date and time: These are auto-filled but can be changed.
- Enter Recipe Repeats (Scale): Changes amounts of inputs and outputs proportionally.
- Configure 'Pull Inputs From' and 'Place Inputs In': They are set to 'Anywhere' and ‘Receiving' by default.
- Click "Create" and you're done!

- Bundling: You have the flexibility to adjust the quantity of items in each bundle.
- Moving Items: Freely move items between different stages and bundle types.
