Learn More about Orders
Welcome to the Orders feature of Tracktile! This tool offers a robust mechanism to manage your customer orders, be it Active or Completed. This guide will provide you with all the essential details for navigating, creating, and managing orders seamlessly.
🗺 Navigating the Orders Page
Upon landing on the Orders page, you'll be presented with options to:
- Switch between Active and Completed Orders: Toggle between your current and past orders.
- Search Items: Utilize the search bar to find specific orders rapidly.
- Sort Items: Arrange your list of orders based on Due Date.
Below these options, a table displays the following columns:
- ID: The unique identifier for each order.
- Due Date: The expected date of completion for the order.
- Order Total: The overall cost of the order.
- Created Shipments: The shipments related to the order.
📝 Creating a New Customer Order
- Click on the "Create +" Button: A new window will appear.
- Fill in Order ID: you can assign a unique identifier for the new order or use the generated one based on the chosen template.
- Choose Customer: Select your customer for this order.
- Set Dates: Enter the date the order was made and its due date.
- Choose Currency: Select the currency for this transaction or use the default one linked with the customer.
- Add Items to the Order: Below, you'll see a table with columns for item, quantity, price per unit, and estimated price. Here you can:
- Select Products to Sell from the Catalog
- Enter Quantity and Confirm Price Per Unit: The estimated price will be auto-calculated.
- Click "Save": Once saved, the 'Assigned to Order' tab becomes active.
📋 Assigning Items to Orders
Navigate to "Assigned to Order" Tab: Another table appears with columns for item, code, and quantity.
Click "Manage Items +": This allows you to assign specific items to your order.
Save: Once saved, the order will appear in the 'Active' section.
🔍 Viewing Active and Completed Orders
You can conveniently toggle between 'Active' and 'Completed' tabs to review your ongoing or finalized orders.
🌠 Additional Features
Order-to-Shipment Link: The 'Created Shipments' column provides a way to see the shipments associated with each order.
