Deconstruction Recipe Setup and Execution
Introduction
Deconstruction recipes are designed to break down a single input into multiple outputs. Here’s how to set up and run a deconstruction recipe in Tracktile.
Setting Up a Deconstruction Recipe
Navigate to the Recipes Page: Access the Recipes section from the admin panel.
- Add a New Recipe: Click the “Add” button.
Specify Recipe Type: Set the recipe type to “deconstruction.”
Enter Recipe Details: Provide a name and an optional description for the recipe.
Input Configuration: Since deconstruction recipes allow only one input, add your single input. Configure any necessary settings such as custom attribute requirements, variance, and automatic waste thresholds.
Output Configuration: Add one or multiple outputs. Specify target percentages for each output.
Running a Deconstruction Recipe
Go to the Production Floor: On the Floor page, select a stage that has the production rule enabled, indicated by the presence of the “Make Product” button.
Start the Recipe: Click “Make Product” and select the Deconstruction type, then choose your recipe.
Select the Input Source: The first step in the process involves selecting a specific source for the recipe’s input. Only one source can be chosen per recipe execution.
- Deconstruction Process:
In a real-world scenario, the quantity field is typically auto-filled using data from an integrated scale. For testing purposes, you can manually enter the weight.
Assign the entered weight to the appropriate recipe outputs.
Continue this process until all of the source material is assigned to outputs or waste. The system allows you to finish the process even if some source material remains.
Finalize the Recipe: Once all assignments are complete, click “Create” to generate new inventory records.
The deconstruction recipe feature effectively facilitates the meat deconstruction example, yet its utility extends to various other applications, demonstrating its adaptability in diverse operational contexts.
