Monitoring Progress of Planned Recipes
Effective management of recipe execution is crucial for maintaining efficiency in production. Tracktile provides tools to monitor the progress and completion of planned recipes through visual aids and synchronized updates across different roles within the organization.
Scheduling and Planning Recipes
Before tracking progress, ensure your recipes are properly scheduled:

Progress Tracking Features
The progress of each planned recipe is visually tracked using a progress bar, available on both the Production Planning screen for managers and the Make Product screen for floor workers.
How Progress Tracking Works
Production Planning View (Manager): Managers can see all scheduled recipes and their completion status through a progress bar, providing an overview of the entire production schedule.
Make Product View (Floor Worker): As workers execute the recipe, they can see real-time updates on the progress bar on their screen. This bar changes based on the number of repeats made:
- For instance, completing 5 out of a planned 10 repeats will show the progress bar at 50%.
- Completing all 10 repeats fills the progress bar to 100%, indicating full execution of the plan.
Dynamic Updates Across Screens
- Real-Time Synchronization: After each execution of the recipe, the progress bar is updated on both the Production Planning and Make Product screens. This ensures both managers and workers are continuously informed of the current status.
- Completion and Visibility: Once the planned quantity is fully executed, the recipe will no longer be visible in the Planning tab for the worker to prevent redundancy. However, on the manager’s screen, the progress bar will reflect 100% completion.
This integrated approach to tracking planned recipes enhances communication between management and production teams, ensuring that everyone is aligned on the progress and completion of production activities. By leveraging these tools, your team can maintain a clear view of production workflows and adjust operations as needed to meet production goals.
