Stages and Areas / Containers
In today's modern world, it is important to have a digital understanding and management of manufacturing processes. Tracktile provides a user-friendly platform for visualizing and managing this complexity.
Pre-release Note: Before diving deep into the capabilities of Flow Builder, it's essential to highlight that this feature is still in its developmental stages. At Tracktile, we're committed to delivering only the best to our users, ensuring every feature is polished and perfected. Therefore, while Flow Builder is not yet available for general use, we're offering individualized assistance to configure it, ensuring it meets your unique requirements and expectations.
Your feedback and collaboration during this phase will play a pivotal role in shaping the final product.
Decoding Stages and Areas / Containers π
- Stages: Think of these as the primary chapters in your manufacturing story, like 'Receiving', 'Production Area', and 'Packaging & Shipping'. You can jump between them on the Floor page.
- Areas / π¦ Containers: These are specific zones and tangible units within each stage where inventory items are stored. For instance, under 'Receiving', zones might be 'Raw Material Storage' and 'Refrigerated Storage'.
The Art of Containerization: More Than Just Storage π¦
Containers in Tracktile are designed to represent real-world storage solutions. From shelves in a storage room to gigantic holding tanks in a manufacturing facility, Tracktile can mirror them all.
Notable Features:
- Dynamic Naming: Each container can have a unique name, assisting in instant identification.
- Diverse Types: Whether it's a fridge, warehouse, shelving unit, or holding tank, categorize them easily.
Designing Your Layout: Stack vs. Grid π
Tracktile offers two primary layouts for organizing your items within a container: Stack and Grid.
- Stack Layout: Best for linear storage spaces, where items are stored one after the other, like a stack of books or a column of boxes.
- Grid Layout: Ideal for broader spaces, like warehouse floors, where items are placed in rows and columns. Specify the number of grid columns and rows to replicate your physical space digitally.
Positioning: Every Item Has Its Place π
With Tracktile, you can pinpoint the exact position of every inventory item. Once you've set up your Grid layout, for instance, to a configuration of 10x10, you can place each item in its designated cell. This granularity ensures you always know where everything is, streamlining operations and minimizing lost time searching for items.
Embrace the Future with Tracktile π
Digital transformation is more than just a buzzword; itβs a pathway to efficiency, scalability, and competitiveness. With Tracktile, youβre not just adopting a tool; youβre embracing a vision of a streamlined, intuitive, and digitally-connected manufacturing world.
