Edit your input source details directly from the Make Product screen — no need to leave the flow.

🔹 What it is

Users with the appropriate permission can now click the ✏️ icon next to any input source to quickly edit item details, such as:

• Quantity/Weight
• Code
• Expiry Date
• On Hold status
• Custom attributes

This makes it faster and easier to correct data in real time without leaving the Make Product screen.

🔹 How to Enable

Go to Facility Settings > Permissions, select the user group, and ensure the following permission is checked:

• Source Edit: Can edit item details in selected sources

🔹 How it Works

Once enabled:

1. Navigate to the Make Product screen
2. Locate any input source and click the ✏️ (edit) icon
3. An "Edit Source" modal will appear
4. Update the details and provide a Reason for Change
5. Click Save

All updates are logged in the item’s traceability history for transparency and auditing.

🤔 Use Case Example

You received 150kg of ingredient, but during production realize it’s actually 143kg. You can now:

• Click the edit icon
• Update the quantity
• Note "Actual weight from scale"
• Save without disrupting the production flow
